With a background in digital design and fabrication, Metal Artist Kate Gausche transitioned from graphic arts to metalwork, drawn to the hands-on nature of welding, bending, and shaping raw materials. Using a combination of computer-controlled plasma cutting and traditional metalworking techniques, she transforms sheets of aluminum and steel into dynamic, sculptural compositions.
